The Ridgid CM-100 Micro Clamp Meter is a professional digital clamp meter designed for electrical testing and diagnostics. This true RMS and AutoRanging instrument combines the functionality of a clamp meter with multimeter capabilities, making it a versatile tool for electricians and contractors working with both AC and DC circuits. The compact design features a clamp capacity for cables up to 30mm outside diameter, whilst measuring current from 40A up to 1,000A AC/DC. The meter provides 8 additional functions including resistance measurement (400O to 40MO), capacitance testing (4nF to 40mF), frequency measurement up to 4kHz, plus diode and continuity testing capabilities. Ideal for electrical installation work, maintenance tasks and fault-finding in confined spaces, the slim double-moulded construction allows for convenient one-handed operation in tight cable compartments. The 4,000 count backlit LCD display ensures clear readings in all lighting conditions, whilst data hold and peak hold functions capture measurements for detailed analysis. The integrated bar graph display provides visual feedback during testing. The meter includes Type K temperature probe capability, measuring from -40°C to 1,000°C, extending its usefulness for HVAC and industrial applications. With CAT III 600V overload protection and automatic polarity indication, the CM-100 delivers safe, accurate measurements for professional tradespeople.
