PCI-Express 2.0 RS-232 Serial IEEE 1284 Parallel card with lifetime warranty. This PCIe combo card installs into a single PCI-Express x1 slot and adds a DB25 IEEE 1284 parallel port and DB9 RS 232 serial port to your system. The card features an Asix AX99100 chip. The parallel port is ideal for connecting printers, scanners, plotters, point-of-sale terminals, PLCs, scientific sensors, medical equipment or oscilloscopes. It supports SPP/Byte/Nibble/ECP modes and IEEE 1284 for speeds up to 2.5Mbps. The serial port is ideal for connecting point of sale terminals, serial printers, PLCs, control and automation equipment, scientific sensors, medical equipment, scanners and oscilloscopes. The serial port supports bi-directional RS232 speeds up to 921.6Kbps per port, with a 256 byte FIFO buffer and 9th data bit support. The card features an optional SATA power input with adjustable power output between 5V and 12V using a jumper on the PCB. This card installs in a full or standard-profile PCIe 2.0 x1 slot and is backward compatible with PCIe 1.1.
