From the outside, the ONIX OC93 system, like all the products of the brand, has a very classic British look (that of the brand’s beginnings, in fact), with a glossy black glass front panel that blends seamlessly with the gold buttons and the OLED screen. CD player and DAC Based on the AKM AK4497EQ DAC and the Cirrus Logic CS8416 digital receiver, the ONIX OC93 delivers High-End sound quality using the Philips CDM4 mechanical drive or one of its many digital inputs. In addition to the standard combination of coaxial, optical and AES/EBU inputs, the OC93 is equipped with a high-performance XMOS XU216 USB input, for easy connection to any computer, and Hi-Res playback up to 32-bit/768 kHz and DSD256. Streamer The built-in 7-inch touchscreen allows you to access the Android system developed internally. It provides an easy way to access all your favourite music, regardless of whether it’s stored on USB drives, local NAS, or on one of the pre-installed streaming services. Wireless connectivity also allows for simple streaming via Airplay, DLNA or Bluetooth 5.0. All easily controllable directly from the phone or tablet through our Eddict player application. The ONIX OC93 was designed as a complement to the integrated ONIX OIA92 amplifier. Co-shapely constructed, it offers an improved digital section based on a more performing AKM chipset and adds the capabilities of a fully independent CD and streamer player.
