For over five decades, artist Nalini Malani (b. 1946) has focused on giving a voice to the stories of those marginalised by history – particularly women. As the inaugural recipient of the National Gallery Contemporary Fellowship with Art Fund, Malani has created a new ‘animation chamber’ inspired by the histories and collections of the National Gallery, London, and the Holburne Museum, Bath.
