A 125mm plank width is deemed a fairly narrow plank and works better in smaller spaces such as bedrooms or hallways. Random length or RL products allow you or whoever is fitting your floor to stagger individual planks – creating a free-flowing look. Also, the 3mm wear layer enables you to sand and refinish the surface up to 3 times in total, however this shouldn’t be necessary for the first 10-15 years. Engineered or multi-ply backed products are incredibly resilient to temperature changes that make them suitable for the vast majority of rooms within your home – even the conservatory! Due to their stability, all of our engineered wood products are compatible with both water and electrical based under floor heating systems. Our Meadow Oak uses the tongue and groove (T&G); joining mechanism. With a 3mm wear layer you are able to sand down the surface up to four times in total should you ever feel it necessary.
