For example, where a traditional panel heater would follow a timer set to 21C at 7am, with Adaptive Start, the PLXE will begin heating before 7am to achieve the 21C for the required time. Open Window Detection monitors the rooms temperature whilst the panel heater attempts to achieve the desired warmth of the room. If the temperature does not change or decreases whilst heat is being emitted, the PLXE will stop heating and enter a standby mode to stop energy wastage (function can be turned off if needed for some commercial applications).Quiet operation ensures room occupants enjoy a comfortable environment. The PLXE classic panel heater can be remotely controlled using the Dimplex Control smartphone app when purchased alongside a radio frequency (RF) module for each heater and a Dimplex Control Hub (sold separately). This gives the user command of PLXE and all supported Dimplex products, any time, anywhere and allows for energy usage tracking of each product.
